Founder and Chairman

Massih, also known as Marty, is one year younger than Mostafa and came to the United States alongside him in 1982 from Kabul, Afghanistan as a refugee. He grew up in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, and went to Park Center Senior High. He began his career in business at the young age of 18 and quickly moved up the ranks of leadership at a local call center. After a dozen years in the business, he grew and sold a mid-size company. He then moved to Jacksonville, Florida to help build a global contact center where he served as President and CEO. Today Massih runs his own venture fund and is involved in a stealth start up. Additionally, he founded Sarim Properties in Jacksonville and loves to participates in charities as well as serves on boards in Minnesota, Florida and California. As a resident of Jacksonville Beach, Massih likes to spend his free time outdoors. He enjoys running, fishing, hunting, golfing and traveling the world. He is the proud father of Kali Sarim, his daughter, and fellow board member. Massih lives the fast life and is always on the move. He loves to work hard but play even harder. His never-give-up attitude and fiercely competitive nature is addicting and rubs off on everyone around him. Massih is truly honored to be able to be part of this charity and to keep his older brother’s legacy alive for years to come




Kali Sarim was born in New Hope, Minnesota and is Mostafa’s only niece. Growing up in Plymouth, Minnesota, Kali graduated from Osseo Senior High in 2017 where she was a varsity captain of her soccer team. From there she moved to Phoenix Arizona, to study Business Marketing at Grand Canyon University. After college, Kali was working in Jacksonville, Florida as the Director of Client Solutions for a global contact center. Today she resides in Minnesota with her dog Mia and is continuing her career working with one of the top start up AI companies in the space. Additionally, Kali serves as the President of Moe123, a charity foundation for her late uncle helping to change lives within the community.

Chief Operating Officer

Seraj Sarim was born and raised in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota and is Mostafa’s youngest brother. He ignites those around him with his adventurous spirit and unending enthusiasm. He graduated from Park Center Senior High School in 2002 and went on to earn his degree in television production. During college, he worked as a paraprofessional with local schools and discovered his passion for working with young people. An artist and photographer, his travels have brought him around the world to places like Alaska, Tanzania, and Kathmandu, Nepal where he studied at a Buddhist monastery and volunteered with an orphanage in the city, an experience that has shaped his worldview. As a photojournalist and bartender, Seraj has worked across the country. Living in seven states, he has a unique and up-close view of America, a country that he loves and appreciates. From his first news story about how to keep your cows warm, in Williston, ND to standing in hurricanes on the east coast, Seraj has enjoyed every minute of his career. His eye for detail and the story behind the lens influence his role as a photojournalist daily and as a student of the world, he aims to bring that inspiration with him to Moe123 to help students in their endeavors and honor Mostafa’s legacy each and every day.
