2018-2019 Moe123 Scholarship Presentation: A Night to Remember

Our first ever Moe123 Scholarship Presentation was a night to remember!

Friends and family of the Moe123 joined together in tribute of Mostafa "Moe" Sarim as Wednesday marked one year since his passing. In his honor, we celebrated of the hard work and dedication of five deserving Park Center Senior High School students.

How do you define character? Grit? We decided it would be by letting the students tell their own stories in their own words. Their stories were stories of rising to the occasion, never quitting, gratitude, and lots of grit.

Congratulations to our Park Center Senior High scholarship recipients, Aadil Bede, Jeliah Ogega, Jireh Babalola, Envy Agbonkhese, and Malika Achingale Barbie Odera! We are so proud of each of you and can't wait to see where your futures take you.

In the coming weeks, we'll introduce you to each of our winners. We know you'll be as moved as we are.

We couldn't have done this without your support - whether it was through financial support, 'likes' and 'shares,' or by being a part of our incredible network of friends and family, thank you.

To Park Center, its administrators, and the wonderful Career Resource Center- thank you for walking through our first year with us and for being our resource. Your support has been invaluable! We look forward to the future.

Last but not least, to our students: thank you for sharing and trusting us with your stories. They showcased that you're individuals who want to make an impact in the community that's bigger than yourselves for reasons bigger than yourselves. That keen awareness of community and how to strengthen it will bring you far. Thank you for letting us play a small role in the bright futures that no doubt await you when you embrace your grit.

For now, it's back to work! We're just getting started. Your support is a big deal. Help us change the lives of students this year by making a donation to Moe123.

Follow Moe123 on Facebook and Instagram and don't hesitate to get in touch.

2019, here we come!
